About the Offerings
All wine stoppers and charms are crafted from driftwood collected from Michigan’s many beautiful lake shores and river banks. All pieces are sun dried, bleached as required, sealed with multiple coats of acrylic sealer for food safety, and mounted on a stainless steel stopper.
No two wine stoppers or charms are alike. Nature has sculpted these natural materials by playfully buffering them in waves and winds. They’re reunited in the same artistic abandon. Nearly 200 yards of pre-washed, torn, and resewn cotton are hand-woven into each finished cozie, which is again washed and dried. Machine washable once the ribbon is removed, the cozies are virtually indestructible.
About The Three Crows
Sisters Judy and Diane, and their mother Mary, constitute The Three Crows, a name reflecting their Croatian ancestry. It was Mary’s mother, Grandma Catherine, who patiently taught each of her nine children the practicality of crafting with available materials to create useful and attractive items.
The Three Crows have embraced their heritage, spending their spare time wandering the beauty of Michigan to create both family memories and unique gifts.
